We run one or two trips a year. We time our trips to take place during the southern hemisphere winter, when conditions are dryer (avoiding the rains) and cooler (avoiding the oppressive heat and humidity).  As water levels drop, animals congregate around remaining water sources, making them easier to spot. This is the best time to see jaguars, giant otters, capybaras, caimans, and many bird species.
