PRICES:  These are being finalized, but we expect them to be within a 2-3% range for the numbers below:

Natural History Workshops (cruise only, shared accommodation):

  • 11 days on board:  US$ 9,316
  • 15 days on board:  US$ 12,462

Photography Workshops (cruise only, shared accommodation):

  • 11 days on board:  US$ 10,388
  • 15 days on board:  US$ 13,908

SOLO PRICING:  The Monserrat can accommodate solo travellers at no extra cost ONLY IF we have 2 solos booking on the same departure.   As we charter the entire ship and pay a flat rate for the 16 passenger ship, we do our very best to have 16 people on board.   If we have 7 couples and 1 solo, that leaves us short 1 person.   For this reason, we would charge a 70% supplement for a solo traveller - UNLESS we happen to find a 2nd solo traveller, at which point we would not charge a supplement.  The two solos could each have a cabin to themselves.

If you are a solo traveller but not averse to sharing with another solo (of the same sex), we offer a matching service, where we put you in touch with other solos in the same situation.  If you are keen on exploring that option, click below to register.

Many thanks to you for helping us plan and execute a truly marvelous trip to Ecuador and the Galapagos Islands.  We had a great time, no mishaps, no drama.  Everything went as planned. The accommodations, food and people everywhere were more than we expected.  Certainly our time on the Samba was the highlight of our trip.  The highlight of our stay on the Samba was that we were able to swim with a pod of dolphins, not only once, but twice.
